A drop of water, a grain of soil, and a blade of grass are a universal microcosm. Everything is one thing. All living beings are not separate and divided but interconnected and intertwined. According to Quantum Physics, two electrons separated by a million light-years are always in communication. This means that everything is a single fabric, that everything is one thing. There is a delicate network, a sensitive interrelation among all that exists in balance and harmony.
Nature is a great teacher from whom we must learn, just as we learn from past experiences. The Sumerians used clay, among other uses, as a medium for the first writing in history. Today, new knowledge has greatly expanded its range of applications, to the point where some consider it the most interesting raw material of modern times. Energy is the primary force, while matter is secondary. Matter is nothing more than energy in motion. The interaction between living organisms and their environment is the starting point of a simple but revolutionary idea in thinking and inventing. The ecology of sustainable materials in a world of finite resources is based on the value of their embodied energy. The economy is not the profitable end for a few individuals but the tool for the well-being of the community.
When technology embraces ecology through vitalization, Nature enters our homes. How? By designing useful, beautiful, natural, alternative, responsible, and practical products for everyday life without harming the environment.
Patrizia Dalla Pace has thought about this with Inventing Green, a startup for research and development:
«I wanted to create an ecological refrigerator that is environmentally sustainable not only in terms of its end-of-life cycle, which actually lasts forever since it returns to the womb of Nature, but also in terms of the raw materials used and the manufacturing process. The idea is to store food in the refrigerator without it undergoing a transformation process. Food contaminated by microorganisms has negative effects on health. The renowned scientist Teruo Higa, a Japanese agronomist and biologist, discovered in 1993 that some microorganisms contained in EM (Effective Microorganisms) were able to withstand temperatures even exceeding 1000 degrees. He began experimenting by cooking and transforming a fermented mixture based on EM and clay into ceramics, a material capable of acquiring the effects of EM and preserving them permanently. So, I have tested various combinations of EM microorganisms, which include a mixture of live cultures of microorganisms, both aerobic and anaerobic, isolated from fertile soils found in nature. These microorganisms are used in plant cultivation and can have numerous benefits for humans, animals, and the environment. EM is a set of effective microorganisms that, when present in the majority, influence the behavior of degenerative microorganisms, stimulating regenerative activities that counteract oxidative activities, those that cause food degeneration. In addition, I have tested diatomaceous earth because it is a gray powder made from fossilized remains of diatoms (a type of algae), in other words, a plant-like material that can be cultivated at room temperature with minimal energy usage. From this mixture, an additional range of food-related products can be obtained. It is 100% natural and works because, even though the powder has microscopic dimensions, it is at the same time very strong and absorbent, so effective that it dries out parasites that come into contact with it and kills them. Not everyone is aware of the properties that diatomaceous earth can offer to our bodies, and even fewer people know where this special product comes from. Diatomaceous earth is often collected in areas that were once covered by large bodies of water, which preserve all the deposits of fossilized exoskeleton remains. It is precisely these substances that offer unique natural benefits. To obtain the mixture in this case, you need to take white clay and mix it with EM microorganisms. The union and fermentation will create clay rich in energy, which is then fired. The information of the metabolic products is stored through the firing process».
Making the practical use of things without disadvantages that contradict ecology. The Symbiotic project by Inventing Green is not just a superficial greenwashing like many other passing trends, but represents an authentic and true paradigm shift in service to humanity. Energy and economic savings in an ecological key come through the proper and healthy sensory preservation of food.
Patrizia Dalla Pace, who has made of natural art a reason for living, has gone beyond in creative expression, exploring dimensions unknown to common sense. In short, she has looked ahead, which implies intellectual effort, critical analysis, reflective capacity, and profound humanity.
The true meaning of life lies in respect in relation to all other living beings. Our future as a human species depends on the change we will bring to our consciousness to live in cooperation, empathy, harmony, and respect for all our infinite vital relationships immersed in Nature. Therefore, to enter into communion with the Universe.
